What fabrics/materials does Tulku use in their clothing?

Core Collection: 100% organic cotton from GOTS Certified Organic Cotton in India.

Knits: The cotton we use is soft and breathable. You can feel the goodness of vibration when you wear it. Our 3 high-quality knits are then made locally in California where we manufacture our garments, reducing our environmental carbon footprint.

Vegan Leather: TULKU paired up with a high-tech company to develop a luxurious compassionate vegan leather that is 50% recycled with an amazing look and feel. Our goal is to make animal leather a thing of the past.

Natural Dyes: We dye clothes the way nature colors itself - through plants, flowers, and minerals that come directly from the earth. Each piece of our core collection is dyed with extracted organic pigments, combined with collected rainwater, or left undyed and unbleached. You can see the natural variation of colors throughout each piece, when dying clothes this way every piece will look different, like a fingerprint or a cloud - no two are the same. Embracing this uniqueness elevates us, as it is the natural way

Hand Embroidered: Our heritage collector vegan leather jackets are individually custom-made and hand-sewn. They include pieces that take up to 5 months to be hand embroidered by indigenous women worldwide. We aim to help keep these ancient traditional arts alive and thriving into the future.
